About Me

For the majority of my adult life, I've been a truck driver by profession. I've seen  virtually every state in the lower forty-eight, and with my trips to Canada, I've logged nearly seven million miles.

As Johnny Cash sang "I've been everywhere, man".

Lights and Sound

While Music City is known for Country, when you really get down to the notes on paper, this town has it all. Blues, jazz, rock n roll.  Even rap and techno. When the metal scene took hold in the late eighties, early nineties, I started working weekends behind the boards, doing light shows at various clubs around town. Sal's, The End, Exit/In, among others. The last gig I had was Limelight. for two years I was LD, doing all kinds of shows, from country to blues to rock. While it was certainly a "school of hard knocks" learning the lights and sound, and the whole range of production was a blast for me!!

I said good-bye to the Music Industry

In 2008, I walked away from behind the boards, for one of the most life-changing, yet probably THE most common reasons of all. I got Married. Trust me. That last sentence says enough.

Creativity Doth Not Lie Dormant

Divorced and adjusted and with a much clearer viewpoint, it was time to do something else."hmm. What about a podcast?" I spent six months researching, absorbing, sponging up everything I could about the craft. What I kept coming back to one word: conversation. I'm a big fan of good conversation, I'm also creative, and I feel like I have a good ear for sound, and a good eye for quality video. I put those essential elements out front and purchased some of the best gear available. I also called on the talents of a few good friends, and in December of '22, I kicked off The David Bradley Show. Knowing the first few shows would be test-beds and training grounds, I felt confident that I was putting together a great team, and an even greater opportunity to engage my guest AND my audience.

Simple connection and conversation

Honestly, I felt that, as a whole, a lot of people have forgotten how to have a simple conversation. Social media, text-speak, video clips. They're all cool, but they all reduce us to seconds of sound-bytes. I'm hoping that each time the audience hears my show, they might just learn from it.

It's More Than Conversation. It's Connection.

From boots on the ground, to the beauty of sound

From inside to outside, From no way to always.

David Bradley has dreamed and seen. And, now he's ready to hear your story.

Get back to honest and comfortable conversation, with

The David Bradley Show
